heres a few things i have made my belt knife antler handle forgecraft slicing blade 3/4 tang one pin buckskin covered rawhide sheath white e-beads bag knife antler handle business end of an old hickory butcher stick tang kinda went for the nessmuk look pouch buckskin body lined with red flannel cowhide beavertail flap with pigskin on the backside to cover the cowhide grain pigskin spine and strap attachments with knifesheath and axe pouch of teh same material on the back buckle and d rings i made at work out of pipe axe is a ft meigs i got from dixie this is my fith or sitxth pouch and first attempts at hafting a knife blade with antler my others i did with deer leg bones knife works ok but i really love making bags[url] http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q147/jasontn/100_1047.jpg[/url] [url] http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q147/jasontn/100_1048.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q147/jasontn/100_1050.jpg[/url] gonna try to post more pics as i go of the things i do ive learned a lot here from you guys

I like using those old Hickory knife blades.

thanks for the compliments guys im workin on a load of other stuff ill post too im trying to refine my efforts using what things i have avaliable without breakin the bank the hatchet on my bag cost bout twice as much as the hide i cut the bag from and the knives themselves

heres a few more things ive done this past summer[url] http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q147/jasontn/100_1051.jpg[/url] powder horn made from a pedersoli brand one had a plunger dispenser with a brass screw in neck fo strap cut that off carved neck and added a deer antler spout and brass acorn for filling[url] http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q147/jasontn/100_1054.jpg[/url] these all came from ebay first is a butcher i think made of whats called shear steel hardwood handled steel rivets something i havent seen before sheath is pigskin body with a deerskin cuff/fringe blue and white beads the rest are old table knives with pewter trim 3 bone handled two of a really nice dark wood maybe ebony i left the first one as is to show the orginal shape of them before i trimmed them down some one of the wood ones will be mounted on the strap of a bag im making to sell and the rest will neck sheaths made for them ill post pics of the sheaths soon as i get em done
