Anyway, here we go !!
Here's the spacer with the witness mark -

Here's the spacer in place with the frame and barrel lug not meeting.-

Dressing the spacer gets the barrel lug and frame to meet -

Now all you have to do is dress the spacer to get your endshake.
Same with the Leech and Rigdon-

The Pietta ( Dance and Bros) in this case has an arbor that is too long so -

So, I'll dress the arbor to get my "endshake" and all will be good.

The thinness of the forcing cone on the Dance would dictate absolutely NO conversion cylinder for these revolvers!!!

Cozy! We have an 80s Earth Stove, used to heat the house with it before the ruptured disk put an end to wood cutting.

Great info on the Forcing Cone, not an issue for me but others would need to be aware. Phew.

Total odd 1860 here had to file down the arbor end on a pietta so the gap was not like 1/64. But that was with a Kirst cylinder.
