    zonie , here in Ore. you can hunt with ML in CF season or pistol if you get tag validated for pistol . But ML you just have the option to use it .

First shot I goofed a bit ......I have a 4ffffg horn with a 4grn spring loaded spout and another with the 2 grn spout . Well dummy me I give it a double push in the pan and closed the frizzen ,tipped , tap tap and shot...

    Well I finally got to shoot the 54 flinter Roy built for me this morning and it shoots great ! I fired five rounds through it and couldnt see the point of shooting any more without changing the target. I fired 3 with 60grs KIK fffg ,.015 oxyoke spit lube patch , .530 rb and 2 with same...

    Ya , you'll probably get a responce allright.....3 o'clock in the morning and your door kicked in with a teargas grenade for breakfast. Some of the foul ups they have done in the past it would not surprize me one bit.

    You say you flinch bad ?? That could be why it shoots off target . If there is any lag time from when the prime is ignited to the time the rifle goes off a lot of things can happen in between. I would set the sights centered again and work with it on the bench for awhile and see what happens ...

    I made a little set up with a discarded gas hotplate burner and a turkey fryer frame.My pot is homemade and is about 14" wide and 10" tall. I use this for cleaning lead and for making up batches of alloys .
