Another beauty Rob dam that’s a good looking gun.
Thanks bud , I appreciate that . It means a lot coming from the great trade gun builder of the North too ! I really like it ! Man , it handles great too , no muzzle heavyness , great balance , light ! 5 5/8 pds. Shes a dandy !

Finally , some good pics ... Disassembling it now , browning barrel and guard ...

SHEEW !! Was really dreading this ! The barrel is hangin , browning , and the ramrod soakin in the sauce so I had to address the lock problem. You could tap the lock plate or the back of the hammer / cock , on full cock , and it'd go off . Not safe , naturally . I'm no lock smith and have gotten in a bit of trouble for messing with the works on a malfunctioning lock before so I'm very reluctant....You mess with the guts and then you have to pay for the fix and parts , if you send them the company that made it , the lock they will fix it for free , but ...time has always been a factor ...any who ....I figured I either had to take a road trip.to the guy that made the lock or fix it myself , I dont feel like waiting 2-3 months as per usual ....Since the barrel is browning and I'm waiting I been going through the lock and by golly ! I found it ! The sear and bottom part of bridle were hitting , coming in contact ! I stoned the sear and ground the bridle a bit and BAM !! Shes working great now ! Before you could just push n the back of the hammer a few times and shed go off ...never saw that before ! . ..All good now ! Thank you Lord !!
