;)
LOL ... By the way bud .... Sorry no updates on the Carolina Gun lately ... Its just browning , getting texture on it now , gonna take awhile . When texture gets on there then I'll take it all down , take brown off , to achieve the French grey type of look ....sure like the one ole dude posted ,Pathfinder NC .... . He did a nice job

A friend of mine sent me this Mike Lea ramrod taper tool ! I've been looking to buy one for SO long and Mike hasn't been able to make any in some time . This tool was totally foreign to me but in 40/minutes I had a tapered hickory ramrod made for my N.W. Trade Gun ! That would have taken me 2 1/2 hrs . with rasp.and file ! Wow ! It is awesome !? ! I slightly adjusted the sights on the N.W. gun as well today , just a titch ... Hopefully get a chance to shoot it and see ifn its a bit more on target tomorrow. :) we'll see ....

Finally got windage !! Gawd dawg ! Took forever ....Point of aim at marker. The 3 holes at right , I tweaked barrel at each shot , kinda walked the shots in ... The 3 in a line under , they are the last 3 shots . Ok ...now that windage is good , or at least close I'll adjust elevation with sights and try some different load combination s. Gun/ barrel was the toughest ive ever messed with , gave me the most trouble . Gettin her dialed in ...

Here's a funny .... My rear sight was too low so I put on a taller blank then marked center , marker , then took it too 25 yards to start the process of sighting it in , etc. Best shot its ever made .! Not even a slot in the rear " sight" yet ! LOL !! Now what !! ?!! I dont want to touch it !! LOL ! :D oh well ....

Well, if you file a shallow notch, that should bring you a tad lower to the center of the black, haha :ghostly: !

Teasing ... glad you're having fun with it! Hope you keep her too ... cuz if you sell it, there's a few of us lined up to kick your hillbilly arse ... ;)
LOL ! I got her dialed in and , oh yeah .... Its sticking around.!! :) man! She shoots fast ! ( ignition wise ) and cracks like a rifle ! I like her ! Got her shooting good at 25-35 yards , cleaned and hung back up over the door :)
