I finally got one shot today. I couldn't buy a piece of the candle anywhere today but I'm not disappointed because all would have been lethal in a deer.
NW Trade gun, my build, .62 cal.
2 ff for load and prime
Tow wadding over powder and ball
.610 round ball
Offhand
Score 0

Like @deerstalkert, I waited until the last day of the year to get out to the range to shoot the December target. Took my 14 yr old neighbor out and he loves shooting the ML firearms.

I shot the rifle on a windy day here in Georgia - but managed to hold it pretty tight for a 40 score. I shot my Ruger ROA for the first time since adding the higher front sight and I think the sights need to be adjusted left a hair - grouped most of them around the RH edge of the bull for a score of 2! I'll have to spend a little time adjusting my sights next time I go out.

I will score and post December targets later this week and I wish everyone a safe and Happy New Year and thanks for participating in these fun shoots!

Gary

The pictures of everybody's targets makes this seem like a reasonably doable shot. But at 25 yards it takes up very little space on a piece of typing paper!

I really wanted to take the flame off. Hands were cold at 20°F and I kept pulling left. Was happy with my groups. Great to be alive and shooting.
I tried three targets. Best I could score was a 12.
Thank you Gary for the forum matches!

See the "Blue" grouse? There's also a white buffalo, "Omen" and a Woods Buffalo on the hill.
