Taking forearm down to final ... Got the lock side done , on to S.P. side , rasp work anyway ....then body file work , one side at a time ...then hopefully be to sanding phase ...see how thick the edges are in a couple of the pics ,gotta thin the ramrod channel edges and barrel channel edges down ... Pic with pencil point ...thats as thin as I'll go with the flat rasp , after that boxy file , then sand paper around block of wood ... Dont go through the edge !!!!

There's not a lot of differences between the different makers , and that is exactly what HBCo wanted , no differences , that way one style was not more prevalent than another to the customers . .... See ? Nothing major , just small details ....Oh yeah , esp. for this build....Barnett combs were more rounded , Whately combs were like an 90 angle , rather abrupt ...the customer wants a nice rounded comb so ...Barnett it is ! :)

All the different makers had to follow what the Proofing House records requested, the big purchasers wanted the builders to follow these guidelines.

Got the stain mixed up and put on the stock but couldn't get a good picture ...its taking forever to dry so ....tomorrow work .... be slappin on the finish tomorrow morning , let it dry , cure most the day ....
